Headlight Restoration

Headlight restoration

Modern vehicle headlight housing use a polycarbonate lens. Over time this lenses can yellow and oxidize as they are exposed to UV and sunlight. This results in reduced light projection and visibility at night.

While replacing your headlights is certainly an option, a better alternative may be restoring your existing headlights. When we restore head lights the yellowed and oxidized layer is removed, leaning a clear lens. A UV protectant is applied to help prevent future oxidation and yellowing.

Restoring your headlights allows you to keep the OEM headlight without having to pay the higher cost for OEM headlights. Many after market headlights may no provide the same lighting ability as the OEM headlight.

How much will it cost?

The typical cost is between $50-$100.

Here is what is included:

  • Assessment of headlight condition
  • Removal of oxidation and surface damage
  • Correction of moisture issue (if they exist)
  • Application of a UV protective coating
