The Drag Link is part a vehicles steering system. They are found on vehicles which use a steering gear, not a rack and pinion. The drag link is part of the steering system that converts rotary movement into a lateral (or side-to-side) movement, in order to turn the vehicles wheels.
The drag link is connected to the pitman arm on one side and the steering arm on the other. Each end of the drag link has a ball joint. Over time these components will wear out. When they do you will experience:
- Uneven or unusual tire wear
- Loose or sloppy steering
- Pulling to one side
- Poor handling
- Vehicle Wandering
