Front Sensor Harness Repair

Tools needed:Wire strippers, crimping tool, heat shrink tubing, electrical tape, basic hand tools

Steps:

  1. Lift and secure vehicle using appropriate jack stands
  2. Remove wheel for better access
  3. Locate the damaged section of the ABS sensor wire harness
  4. Trace wire routing from sensor to connector
  5. Remove any zip ties or clips securing the harness
  6. Cut out damaged section of wire
  7. Strip both ends of wire approximately 1/2 inch
  8. Slide heat shrink tubing over wire before connecting
  9. Crimp or solder wires together ensuring proper connection
  10. Heat shrink tubing over connection
  11. Wrap with electrical tape for additional protection
