Simple PCV Hose Replacement

Tools needed:Pliers, screwdriver, replacement hose

1. Locate the PCV valve hose connecting the valve cover to the intake manifold
2. Loosen the clamps on both ends of the hose using pliers
3. Carefully pull the old hose off both connection points
4. Clean the connection points with a rag
5. Install the new hose, ensuring it's fully seated
6. Reattach and tighten the clamps

Complex PCV System Repair

Tools needed:Socket set, pliers, screwdrivers, replacement parts

1. Remove engine cover if present
2. Disconnect battery negative terminal
3. Remove any components blocking access to PCV system
4. Document routing of existing hoses with photos
