Electronic Ignition Pickup Repair Procedures

Hall Effect Sensor

Common repair steps:

  1. Locate the Hall Effect sensor, typically mounted near the distributor shaft
  2. Disconnect the battery's negative terminal
  3. Remove the distributor cap and rotor
  4. Unplug the electrical connector from the sensor
